Hello, I cannot save new excel files. Specifically when I go to File, Save
As, the "Save As" is greyed out and I cannot click on it. Additionally, the
disk icon while I work on an excel is not colored, so it unable to be clicked
(i.e. used). This problem, therefore, prevents me from saving any new excel
files. I would be very grateful to any help someone can offer. Thanks in
advance... Paul

Since this newsgroup is dedicated to XL for Macintosh (hence the ".mac."
in the newsgroup name, you'd probably do better in a Windows-oriented
group, perhaps

  microsoft.public.excel.setup

or

  microsoft.public.excel.misc
