When a small 4 worksheet workbook is opened it has suddenly started opening
two identical copies of the workbook. Labelled workbook:1 and workbook:2.
Modify one, the other modifies as well, save to a new file name, reopen and
two copies appear.  Any ideas.
I have been using excel since 1990 and have never comes across this before.
Transfer file from PC to Mac and the same thing happens.
Many thanks

XL can have multiple windows open into the same workbook (choose
Window/New Window in the Menu).

Close one of the windows, then save the workbook.
