I have a photocopier with 30 users. Each user has a unique ID number in there
print driver prefrences. This works fine until they open the Excel documents
on a shared drive, edit print then save them. When another user opens and
prints the document, the print driver settings are held by excel. They all
have SP-3 for office and Windows. I have tried finding the Hotfix but cant
find the download in the artical 831180, the hotfix is for MAC and i want
windows XP.

Any help Please......

Since this newsgroup is dedicated to Mac (not MAC) Excel (hence the
.mac. in the newsgroup name), you'd probably be better off posting in a
Windows newsgroup.

However, a couple of things:

AFAIK, Hotfixes can *only* be obtained by calling MS - use the contact
link in the KB article.

The only thing cited about Macintosh in that article is the need to
apply the Service Release 1 update to Office 2001, which is a VERY old
version. That's not a hotfix.

I've no idea why that requirement's in that KB article, but it would
only be necessary (if it's necessary at all) if you're running Office
2001.
