i need to know how to insert a command button into a word document so
when you click it, it runs the program.  THANKS!

Perhaps you're clear in your own mind as to what you want to do, but I'm
afraid nobody here can see into your head - your topic refers to Office, you
posted to Excel, but the message refers to Word. When you say "runs the
program", *what* program?

Please provide some descriptive detail of what you're looking to do & I'm
sure someone will be able to help.
