Mac Forum / Applications / Excel / August 2007Old Bug Fixed???
Is it my imagination or did the 11.3.7 update actually correct a long-standing issue with the MRU? I finally got around to updating & find that I can now launch Excel, change nothing, Quit, & when I re-launch the MRU is still intact! Since I always use a macro to load the MRU on startup, I hadn't noticed this, but it does appear to be fixed. In my testing, I opened Excel and then checked the file menu to see if the MRU was there. It was. Apparently this is enough to avoid the bug. If excel is opened and then closed without doing anything, the MRU is gone.
