I am entering numbers in cells and Excel is automatically turning them
into some type of formula, which I don't want it to do, but I can't
stop it. Help!

Either the numbers your entering are more than 11 digits or you've
inadvertently changed the cell formatting to Scientific. Either way, select
the cells, go to Format> Cells - Number & change the cell formatting to
Number, Currency or Accounting, whatever is appropriate.

It's hard to diagnose unless you give an example or two.

What numbers are you entering?

How are the cells formatted?

What does the formula bar show after you hit enter?
