Is there a way that I can link a cell(s) to pick up a certain
investment price?

I have a speadsheet to track my gold and silver investments.  I want
the cells that contain the prices for Gold and Silver to refrerrence
and update, just like DATE does.  I have tried HYPERLINK, but I can't
figure out how to referrence just the price, then return that value.

Anybody?

"Pick up a certain investment price" from *where*?

I'm gonna guess & assume you mean from a web site, in which case you might
want to review the current thread entitled " How to create web queries? " in
this same group. Other discussions on the topic are also available if you
search the group. Bottom Line: WinXL = Piece of cake, MacXL = not so much:(
