iqy file appearing but grayed out

I've been trying to get this to work for a while. I've followed the
instructions in this document - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274787/en-us#appliesto
- to create a simple iqy file but every time that I do it appears but
is grayed out. Any ideas on why this would be happening? Any help
would be appreciated.

Hi,

When you use Data > Get External Data > Run Saved Query

At the bottom of the dialog box is a pop-up menu. Enable All Documents.
