I have used Excel 2004 for the Mac on my PowerBook for years.

Today, for the first time ever, my totals are not recalculating when I
change individual figures.  Doesn't matter if my additon formula is a
sum of cels or each cel added together.

I can't figure out if I've changed a preference setting or what, but I
have to keep reinserting the addition forumla to get a correct total.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Jack Steinmann

Try Preferences/Calculation/Automatic

The first thing to confirm is Excel>Preferences>Calculation, make sure it's
set for Automatic. If that isn't the fix, post back with as much additional
detail as possible... Exact version of OS & Office, all workbooks or just a
specific one, anything else including 3rd party add-ins?
