Does anyone know if a driver exists that will allow me to connect to
Excel via ODBC on a Mac?  I am looking for something that is
equivalent to the "Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls)" driver found on
Windows machines.  This driver allows you to pull data from a
spreadsheet using ODBC.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

A google search for "mac excel odbc" (without the quotes) yields some
results. Have you already investigated the mactopia article "Import data
into Excel 2004 by using ODBC"?

The one company I can think of off the top of my head who does this is
OpenLink Software.  I want to say that one of the principals there has
even posted in this newsgroup...I could be wrong?

I am able to find information about importing data into excel, and
this works fine, but what I am trying to accomplish is exporting data
from an excel spreadsheet via ODBC.

Check with actualtechnologies.com. I seem to have heard a rumor that they
are working on this.
