Does anyone know, how I could arrange data in cells from horizontal to
vertical? I do not need to change the direction of the text itself, I would
like to have the data from the 1st row in the 'A' column, second row in B,
etc.

One way:

Select your data. Copy. Choose another sheet/cell. Choose Edit/Paste
Special, check the Transpose checkbox, click OK.
