One guy has tried to help a bit, suggest I delete columns that have the
excel bizarre yellow bars.  But how to you select to infinity?

Command-A will select all cells.
Also, clicking on the diamond shape to the left of Column A header and
above Row 1 header will select all cells.

To follow up on my previous post...

After selecting all cells, don't delete. Instead, Format > Cells >
Patterns (tab) - Cell Shading - No Color

Is the text color set to white?

As someone else wrote, it sounds like you got more than you bargained
for when you did a paste.

Yes! Was white!  How odd, nothing else what for white. I just pasted in one

was working on got fried? But why??
