Disable Annoying Hyperlink Warning?

Hi everyone.  I am creating a large spreadsheet in which I hope to
include hyperlinks to one-page PDFs for easy viewing.  My problem is, I
cannot find a way to disable the annoying "Some files can contain
viruses" warning message that pops up every time a hyperlink.  It would
be tedious in the extreme to have to click "Open" every time I want to
see the linked file.  I found info on how to disable these warnings in
the Windoze version of Office, but nothing on Excel or Mac Office 2004.
Any ideas?

thanks

Hello Brett,

If I use the =HYPERLINK() function instead of Insert > Hyperlink... , I
find that the warning does not appear. It also seems to connect faster.

I have the same problem. I'd like to turn off the "may contain viruses"
warning, and I've tried the =HYPERLINK() function you suggest, but with
no luck. The warning still appears when I click on a link.

I'm using Excel 2004 under MacOSX 10.3.9.

Are there any other work-arounds for this?

Alas and alack! The "fix" I suggested to Brett last month no longer
works for me!
What about making the spreadsheet and then "save as web page" and use
it in a browser? It would be a real pain to have to do this each time
you made a change, but if you didn't have to make frequent changes, it
might be ok.
