Row Heights Incorrect Sizes

Hi, can someone please help, I've been inputting values for row heights
by selecting 'Format>>Rows>>Height' and entering my required
measurement of 6.5mm, but when I select 'Format>>Rows>>Height' for a
second time to check if they're properly sized, instead of the 6.5mm I
input I'm getting 6.35mm. This happens with columns too, they don't
retain the originally required number either.

I've looked in Excel's preferences and don't see anything that would
make this happen either.

This happens exactly the same on two different machines. Both with
Excel 2004 installed. Anyone got any ideas as I really need to sort
this out?

Thanks,
Christian Macey

Christian,

Excel has a minimum incremental change that it can make. Using the
millimeter preference for dimensions you may set a row height to 6.35
mm or 6.70 mm but never anywhere in between. I don't know the
mathematical basis for this but someone here probably does.
