Looking for help w/ the formula bar in excel.  When I move into a cell
nothing shows in the formula bar.  However, if I enter a number the
rest of the formula will appear.  Is there anyway to change the formula
bar to show what is existing in the cell?  Thanks.

Sounds like your cells are set to hide formulae. To change that setting:

Unprotect your sheet (Tools/Protection/Unprotect Sheet). Select all
cells. Choose Format/Cells. Uncheck the "Hidden" checkbox in the
Protection tab.
