Hi there,

I have a useform created in Excel 2003 with a commandbutton that has a
picture. When loading the file under Excel 2004, the userform appears as
being empty. If I remove the picture from the commandbutton, the userform
loads fine.

Why is that happening?

Has anyone found a solution?

Regards,

Mr T

Hi MrT

My experience is that pictures on userforms are not cross platform.

I thin a work-around is to load the picture from a file rather than have
the picture already on the userform, but I have some recollection of the
load function not working right sometimes.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your reply.

Using images in bmp format solves the problem. It is not totally satisfying
as bmp images are bigger than gif or jpg, but that works.

Yes, that is true!  Thank you. I had forgotten that bmp files work
across the great divide.

That's not likely to change any time soon.
