Hi- I need to add a trendline to my plot of sinusoidal data, but Excel only gives 6 options (linear, logarithmic, polynomial, power, exponential, and moving average). Does anyone know of a plugin, preferably free, that lets one add a Sine trendline? Thanks! -Jess Hi, I found just what you are looking for! First I went to http://www.mathtools.net/ and found Emil Meyer's Trigo_8e download. You have to use Stuffit Expander on the file twice to get the folder from the exe executable. It does not, to the best of my knowledge, allow one to add a sinusoidal trendline by right clicking on scatter plot points and selecting "add trendline". Thanks! And here I thought I had it! Oh well. There is an entire newsgroup devoted to charting. It's microsoft.public.excel.charting Maybe there will be someone in that group who has experience with what you are seeking.
