How do I create a web query in excel on the mac?  I can't seem how to
create one only run an existing one.  I've resorted to creating the
query on my PC and then copying the query file over to my mac - but
even doing this the mac version of excel returns the whole page, not
just the table that's selected in the query text file like when I run
it on the PC.  Is this a bug?

Also, can someone please point me to a reference on the options
available in the query file and what they mean?  Is there a way to
select just one cell instead of one table?  Thanks....

Hi,

I have a bunch of stuff about web queries on this page
http://www.agentjim.com/MVP/Excel/ExcelHome.htm

Some of it will seem to be out of date, but the functionality is the
same for the new versions of Excel as it is for the old versions.

One of these days I should update that section of my web site.

Yes I saw that page when searching for info, but it doesn't really
answer my questions on how to create a web query that pulls data from
only 1 cell.  NUless I overlook a link on your page, I still need a
list of all options that can be used in the web query text file as it
seems that the mac version of excel won't let you create a web query by
browsing the web page like you can on a PC.

Also, some of the pages on your website come up all garbled.
