Is there any way to change the border color of the active cell in excel
for mac 2004? The default selection is too light for my poor eyesight.
Thank you.

All MacXL versions take their highlight color from the System
Preferences.

Choose <apple menu>/System Preferences/Appearance and change the
Highlight color to something more vivid. Note that it will change the
highlight color system-wide.

To take effect in XL, you'll need to close and reopen it.
