Eudora launches the web browser in order to set up a SSL session so
you can buy the Paid version.

To GET that RegCode.dat file; you need to talk to Eudora.com with
a SSL browser...
But I figured out the cure. Seems Eudora ignores the Control Panel
setting of what browser to use; and keeps its own. You fix that by
finding mail with a link, any link, and option-clicking on it. That
lets you rechoose the default browser...
