When I check mail, I get the following error message several times

"
Couldn't open mailbox.
(-43); The document was not found {45:188}

"

When I click on OK, Eudora goes ahead and retrieves the message. It
doesn't do this on every email.

I'm running Eudora 6.1.1 on an  iMac G3  under OS 9

Anybody knows?

My first guess would be you have a filter trying to move mail to a
non-existent (or damaged) mailbox.
