Hello!

This happened years to me years ago with Eudora and another Mac
operating system.

Upon quitting Eudora 6.1 on Mac OS 9.2.2, I get the message (about 98%
of the time): The application "Eudora Pro" has unexpecdedly quit
because an error of type 2 has occurred.

What's up?  Macsbug says its a memory thing.  I have no other programs
running, not even Norton Filesaver.

Any thoughts?

Check out the existing thread entitled "Type 2 Error when quitting Eudora".

There may be an issue with 6.1 and 9.2.2.

On the other hand, have you tried all the usual tricks first:

Allocate a load more memory to Eudora
Rebuild the desktop
Compact your maiolboxes?

Or move the Eudora settings file out of your Eudora folder and letting
Eudora create a new one when you start it up.
