I have read it now, is your recommendation that I enable this setting in
Eudora?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Yes, I would recommend it. Almost all SMTP servers currently used
support 8BITMIME. And if your server doesn't support it, Eudora won't
use 8-bit. If the server that your SMTP server has to talk to doesn't
support 8BITMIME, it will convert the message appropriately.
