Window scrolling bug?

Hi,
I'm running Eudora 6.0.2 under OS 10.2.8 on a G4 IMac.

When I have a message open on the screen and want to select part of it,
I find that I can only do so in the part that's visible on the screen.
When I use the mouse to select-drag, and try to go beyond the bottom of
the screen, the message doesn't automatically scroll up, as windows
usually do under other applications.

I wonder if this is a bug in Eudora, and if so if it is likely to be
fixed at some point.

Many thanks for any help.

Apologies if this seems way too obvious, but have you tried shortening
the window a couple of centimetres above the bottom of the screen before
you begin to try the select-drag?  Sometimes if the bottom of the window
is a fraction too low, you lose control of the operation.

If that is indeed the problem, then change your default window size in
the Settings menu. I've not experienced the problem you describe
*except* if the window itself is too long.

Rifty.
