Corrupted hyperlinkage?

I've somehow compromised Eudora's ability to link to the browser. When
I double-click on a hyperlink (blue URL), I get a message that says...

An error occurred loading the "MS internet library (PPC)" library.
Re-installing should solve the problem.

Internet Explorer's (lack of) Tech Support tells me that's it's a
Eudora problem. Anybody know? Do I need to do a search for some
obscure little corrupted file and drag it to the trash...or what?

I just want to be able to click on a link in an email message and have
it take me to the appropriate URL in Explorer -- like it used to do!

Which OS are you talking about here? Which version of IE?

In my OS 9 partition, with IE 5.0, there's a file in System
Folder:Extensions called 'Microsoft Internet Library'. 'Microsoft' in full,
no (PPC) on the end. That's most likely installed by the Internet Explorer
First Run program, or the IE installer, and if you still have that, then
trashing the file and running the installer should do it.

I can't find any file of that name in OS 10.
