Hi, I have problem with an Eudora user that has me going bonkers.

I have a user (mac os 9.22) who's Nicknames keeps on reassociating
with other e-mail adresses. So when she types in a Nickname, the
correct name will be listed, but when she sends the e-mail it will go
to a user that is a couple of users down the list in the address book.

Her Address book is way under a 1meg and her e-mail IN box is under
1MB  most of the time too.

Here is what I have done so far..

1. Deleted her History, and Address files. (problem reaccored)
2. Created a new login account for her on  Mac 10.2 with Mac Manager,
copied nothing from her previous login (no in box, sent mail, nothing
was copied over), set-up e-mail and typed in the address book myself.
(problem reaccored)
3.  Up dated her from 5.2 to 6.xx, deleted History files, and address
files. (problem reaccored)

At this stage of the game I have tried everything, that I can think
of.  Any suggestions would be helpfull.

I have read the following message from jperry@elkhart.net

and have decided to lend my vast knowledge.

and my reply is:
See if name is in the "quick recipients" list. If it is there remove
the check mark in the address book. Make sure it is gone from list.
Delete and recreate address. See if it works.

Replace domain.invalid with dcsi.net

Besides Dennis Marks' suggestion, there are a couple of other things you
can try.  Increase Eudora's memory allocation, and rebuild the Desktop.
Eudora seems to develop strange problems on 9.x and below if she runs
low on memory or when the Desktop hasn't been rebuilt very recently.
