So I sent a message & dropped 3 small pdf's into the attachment
line. I cc'erd myself.

Yet when I read it, the pdf's display in the message. I thought that
would happen if I dropped them into th ebody, but not the Attached:
line.

Huh?

I guess it's caused by a prefs setting:  in Settings -> Fonts & Display
-> "Display Graphics in messages" is likely checked.

I just recently discovered that it will even display PDFs under OSX.
