When i try to write email while not connected to the internet, Eudora
regularly hangs with spinning cursor for long periods of time. I am
wondering if this has to do with the sponsored version looking for
pop-up adds, and if I bought the paid version would it remove this
problem?
Eudora 6.0b24 OSX 10.3
Thanks.

I think more likely it's a problem with bugs in the beta version.
Download and install the current release version of Eudora and see if
that cures the problem.

Are you accidentally trying to send the message(s), making Eudora try
to get a connection when there isn't a network available?

Why are you still using a beta? Get 6.0.2, which is the latest final
version IIRC.
