I am using Eudora 6.2.4 on OSX 10.54

Can a deleted message be recovered? (once the eudora trash has been
emptied?)

Thx.

Certainly -- at least until the Trash mailbox is "compacted";
unfortunately, that occurs as soon as you "close" the mailbox :-(

In principle, the data area of the file that _was_ the "Trash"
mailbox, before compacting (to an empty new file),
might now still be in "unallocated" disk space,
but the task shifts to "data recovery" forensics,
not to anything formally present in Eudora or the OS.

"I didn't know there were any Calvinists at Microsoft" :)

Might still be in the original mailbox file if it hasn't been compacted.
