I'm using Eudora 6.2.
I've been told by those receiving my emails that if I put in the cc
field someone from my address book, it comes through with the name from
the address book rather than the full email address of that person.
Therefore they can't respond to the cc person since it is their nickname.
Hope this makes sense and is there a way to change it?
Thank you.

The only way that I know of this happening is to use a feature
that effectively converts an address list to a "Bcc,"
since the mail could otherwise not have been delivered,
without the actual email address.
The sender, however, may continue to see just the nickname
in the "Out" mailbox, unless "automatically expand nicknames"
is turned on (which is also a cure for any such problem),
and recipients who use other email clients
may also see only their "real names" (spelled out) if included,
because various other email clients like to suppress
the actual email address themselves,
whenever they can find something else to display instead.
To see what might actually be in messages you send to others,
try making a nickname for yourself, in the same style as you do
for the other person, and send a message to yourself,
using your own nickname.
BTW, the Mac version option to expand nicknames while composing
is called "Expand nicknames immediately" (in "Composing mail" settings),
in the section "Inserting Full Email Addresses rather than Nicknames
(Sponsored and Paid modes only)" of the user manual.
