I'm going to switch, going to try to switch ;), my wife from Eudora to
Apple's Mail.

If I use Eudora Mailbox Cleaner will it put Eudora addresses in a
separate folder in Apple's Address Book?
Does it keep Nicknames?
Any problems with nested mailboxes in Eudora when going to Apple Mail?

Bottom line since I'd like this to go smoothly, are there any
significant problems to watch for when making this move?

Thanks for the help.

Unless she's crazy about Mail herself, I wouldn't. It's usually not a
good idea to force a new application/workflow onto someone, if the
person is productive and not complaining with what she/he is using
currently.

Personally I find Mail a rather frustrating attempt at a mail client
that lacks quite a few features I've come to take for granted from
Eudora.

But don't take my word for it and read for yourself what the Mac Orchard
says about Eudora and Mail:

Is not the comparison against a Tiger based Mail app?
