After a severe crash, Eudora cannot find the correct setting file. I have to go into the Documents folder and click on the most recent settings. It should be fixed now , there is always a backup settings file made when you stop using Eudora. In my Eudora folder in Documents I see : Eudora Settings Eudora settings.bkup The bkup version was saved by shut down last night.... I always must go to the Documents folder and click on a backup, at which time it tells me that Eudora is transferring files and do I want to quit. Do you take the extention bkup away ? otherwise it makes bkup bkup I think you need a settings file without extention to be used while starting. theo SignatureFrom the heather in the North of Belgium |
