Still quite useless as a "Eudora 8."
It can't import my settings at all, and when I let it chew on my
mailboxes for 5 minutes, it claims to work but only manages to get a few
messages per mailbox. The supposed migration tool that pops up when
first starting can't find anything to import even though my stting and
mail are in the standard location.
I'm quite disappointed. If Dudziak & Dorner really think this is a beta,
they've lost their minds. This looks like it was done my someone who
doesn't have a Mac to test on. I'm hoping that it was just a screwup in
building the .dmg version.

It imported my messages just fine without a hitch, but it couldn't do my
settings either--at least more than the dominant personality.

It couldn't handle my settings at all.
The strange thing is that stock TBird manages this better. It gets the
dominant personality and all of the mail.

Well, they seem to know that the importers aren't quite working yet,
because Mail Store, settings and Address Book importers for Mac and
Windows are listed as (critical) bugs and the bugs have not been marked
as "fixed." Whether they've lost their minds by releasing a beta
without fully working importers, I can't say.
