Hi there,
I have one account set up as IMAP and was wondering if someone would
have an explanation/solution for the following problem.
All messages I send appear in my *local Out box only*, but not in the
server's Out box, which somehow defeats the purpose of IMAP.
Is this how it works or can anything be done about it?
I searched the Eudora website, FAQ, manual etc. but to no avail.

Use filtering to move them there.

This is partly due to the nature of IMAP and partly due to Eudora being
a rather unrefined IMAP client.
IMAP has no sending facility and no standard for storing sent mail on
the IMAP server. Different clients deal with this in different ways, and
Eudora by default simply doesn't involve the IMAP server when sending
mail.
That doesn't mean you can't make Eudora do what you want. The easiest
way is to create a filter for outgoing mail that transfers anything you
send into the IMAP folder of your choosing.
