Does "the dominant was not used" mean that when you Edit
that personality's settings, you have checked neither
[ ]Check mail every [xx] minutes
[ ]Check mail on manual checks

Are the above checked?

Yes - check on manual. Also when open personalities window and
highlight dominant and click at bottom to check, it fails

Yes -
Could it be a problem that the dominant is the same as one of the
other personalities?

It seems it has to do with google's gmail. Can use all the other POP
accounts, but not any of the google accounts and when try to add a
different google account, that does not work, but can stop and start
the POP on the already established google personalities.
So google does not work as dominant and cannot add even new google
personalities - think the problem may be with google.
