I'm using Eudora 6.2.4 for Mac, and have done for many years, with many
different version.  I used to have it set up to queue messages and send
them together automatically on 'Quit', but now it won't do it.

I had some computer problems recently, which had the effect of trashing
all my preferences, and I can't remember if, in the process of sorting
this out I updated from 6.2.3.

But my question is, can you set 6.2.4 to queue messages, and then send
them on 'Quit', rather than 'Check'.

Sure.  Uncheck the boxes for "Send on Check" and "Immediate Send" in the
"Sending Mail" section of the Settings.  Then, in the "Extra Warnings"
section of the Settings, check the box for "Warn me when I try to quit with
messages queued to be sent."

Brilliant!  I knew I used to be able to do this, but had no idea how
I'd done it.

Thank you very much, Julian, you've restored my pleasure in using
Eudora!
