Since I only change my port settings every now and again, once I have
the appropriate x-eudora-settings, I save them in a text file. Then,
when you need them again, you just open up the file in Eudora and the
links will be clickable. Not a perfect solution for those of us with
spotty memories, but not bad either.

Sounds good enough to me.
I use some odd dialup ISPs in Geneva, several times a year, so on my
TiBook I have three sets of Eudora prefs aliased in a 'Comms' folder on
my desktop. It's almost quicker than thought to open it and double click
the 'Demon', 'Econophone' or 'Bluewin' settings.
