Sort order of mailboxes and folders

Eudora allows for basic filing of one's mail in boxes and folders to
group boxes and all is being sorted alphabetically with folders at the
bottom.

I'm currently streamlining my setup - deleting old mail, combining boxes
etc. - and was wondering whether there's any way to modify the default
sort order.

For instance I'd like certain folders to appear at the top of the
list/menu.

Possible?

Any hints are very much appreciated.

The way I do it: add a space or a letter (a, b, c, etc.) to the
beginning of a folder name. To make a folder go to the botton, add a z
to the beginning.

Yes, I've been doing that already, but I'd like certain folders to
appear even *before the plain mailboxes* as the very first items on the
menu. Sadly folders seemed to be locked to the bottom.

Ideally I'd like to be able to drag boxes/folders in the order I prefer
in the mailboxes window.

Was just wondering if there was maybe a clever plugin or something else
that would help here.
