I have discovered a compatibility problem between Eudora Pro 4.2 and IE
7.0.   The problem is that when you click on an attachment to open it,
you get the error message

"WINDOWS CANNOT FIND
'C:\PROGRAM%20FILES\QUALCOMM\EUDORA%20MAIL\ATTACH\<attachment name>'"

This can be fixed by changing your "Viewing Mail" options.   You need
to UNCHECK "Use Microsoft's Viewer".  By de-selecting this option, you
can again view attachments.

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim

You have also discovered a Mac-specific newsgroup, as in
'comp.mail.eudora.mac', where nobody is going to be using IE 7.0 unless
they have jumped through a number of hoops first... And possibly lost
their marbles on the way.

And you have posted the identical message twice- maybe you have a config
error?

The newsgroup for Eudora running on Windows is:
comp.mail.eudora.ms-windows
