Making Netscape use Eudora for outgoing mail?

Is there a preference one can set so that when one clicks on an email
address in a web page using Netscape 7, the outgoing message window will
open as a Eudora window rather than Netscape's own email window?

Thanks . . .

There are a couple of ways to do it.  One is to use MisFox, a free
utility available at <http://www.icab.de/>.  Another is to fire up Mail
and go to the preferences.  You can set the default email client in the
General pane.

Netscape has its own built-in email client, so it doesn't use the
default client you set this way.

It (Netscape 7) doesn't have preference for using other program for
mail? I remember it has.

BTW to AES (OP), why not try/use Camino? It is like Netscape browser
only installation, like old good days. It uses Gecko rendering too and
it is Cocoa application which is much more native. (yes, in my terms)

Mail has a General preference for email *reader*, which you can set to
Eudora (and I've done so).

Other then setting preferences for helper apps for various incoming file
types, Netscape 7 doesn't seem to have a preference for outgoing mail
app -- at least I've not found one, or mention of one.

Might try that.

At the moment, Safari on an Intel machine seems the fastest thing
around, by a millisecond or two, but Camino seems able to cope with
contrary sites better than anything else around. What Safari can't
manage, Camino usually can. And the latest version is very fast. Nice to
have a choice of two pretty smart browsers. Slightly off topic, I know,
but we all use browsers!

iCab is also maturing nicely; there are some sites Safari can't manage
which iCab can.  I'll try Camino; it would be nice to have another
browser for the pages neither iCab nor Safari can manage.
