I just bought a MacBookPro,... set up my Eudora 6.2 email soiftware.
I want to transfer all the info from my G4 to the MacBook Pro.

Address lists, Mailboxes, info accumulated over a good
amount of time.

No luck so far,.... tried a firewire transfer too.

thanks

You need to explain yourself.

In OS X, everything is stored in the Eudora Folder that's in your
Documents folder.

Simply move it from one machine to the other, keeping it in the
Documents folder of your home folder, and that's that.

Question:  were you on OS 9 on your G4?

You had the option when you first started the MacBook Pro to have it
transfer data from another computer.  Is that you did when you said you
tried a FireWire transfer?  If not, run Migration Assistant let it do
that transfer now.  All you files should then end up in the right
locations to just work.
