OS X Eudora 6.2.1 Backup Inbox HELP!

4-7-2006:

I have Eudora 6.2.1 running on a Mac G5 with OS 10.4.6 and I need to
reformat my hard drive.  I want to save my emails (hundreds of them)
by copying the Inbox (I have a couple of them actually) onto a DVD+R
so that after the reformat, I can replace them into Eudora and continue
as if nothing happened.

Eudora's website and support files and READ MEs are all no help at all.
The website refers to files like "in.mbx.001" and "in.toc.001" but
Spotlight
cannot find them anywhere.

I even tried control-clicking the application icon to "Show Package
Contents"
as one webpage suggested, and there doesn't appear to be anything that
resembles an Inbox or Outbox there either.

Anyone know how to make a backup copy of Eudora's In and Out boxes in
OS X with Eudora 6.2.1?

Look in your Documents folder. You will see a folder called "Eudora
Folder". It contains *everything* relating to your Eudora mail -
mailboxes, filters, personalities, attachments, etc.

Just backup this folder then put it back when you have your new system
installed.

Those are the names of the files on a Windows Eudora installation.  On
the Mac, there is just one file named In.

David is right.  Just backup the ~/Documents/Eudora folder and you'll
get everything you want.

Depending on your settings, there may be 2 files: "In" and "In.toc".
