I wonder if there is a Eudora setting that will automatically Bcc every
email that is sent to a set email address in the same way that one can
keep copies on one's own system?

Create a filter for outgoing messages?

I couldn't work out if the OP wanted to

(1) Bcc every message that is sent (the message that is) to a particular
address, or if he wants to

(2) Bcc every single message that is sent, to anybody, to a particular
address.

Your solution would work for (2), I think, but not for (1), which was
what I first thought was the intention.

'Message' Menu -> 'New Message With...' and an appropriate template?

To reply, substitute .net for .invalid in address, i.e., darrell.usenet5 (at)
 telus.net

That would get to be tedious (I like using keyboard shortcuts), but OP
could create a keyboard shortcut for it.

If you want to do it for every message, just use Stationery.

Thanks for all replies. Yes, I want to Bcc every email by default. Given
that gmail offers what is virtually an unlimited sized mailbox and I
send emails from two places via Eudora virtually equally, this would
give me an easily accessable consolidated record of all outgoing mails
from both. I just forget to do the Bcc manually sometimes and I was
looking for a default option.

I have never used Stationery so better investigate it. It sounds from a
viewpoint of ignorance that Stationery would require emails to be sent
as other than plain text by default, which I wouldn't be happy about,
but I better check if that's the case before going off too half-cocked
on that.

PS Well, that was a piece of cake!  All of 30 seconds to figure out,
even for me....  Thanks, Julian. All I need to do now is to create a
keyboard shortcut for new messages with stationery and get in the habit
of using it, and the problem is solved!  And I can also see some
possibilities for using stationery for other messages now.

This will not use the stationery when you reply or forward a message, so is only
a partial solution.

A full solution is to set the stationery for the personality you are using. See
the "Personality Extras" setting.

Ah yes!  That is exactly where I should have gone.  Excellent!

Thanks, David.  I was really no better off until you suggested that, as
I had to remember to use the stationery option, which I didn't always
manage to do.  This automates the whole process just as I wanted.
