My ISP now uses ssl.
I use Eudora 623.
My system OSX 10.4.2.

When I check the box SSL for POP in the SSL settings of Eudora, and for
instance "maximal compatibility", Eudora quits each time I check mail.
I suspect there is a problem with Keychain Access but reinitializing
this application had no effect...

I found the explanation: the alias Openssl in
home/Library/Application Support/Eudora/Openssl.framework
was pointing towards a bad original. Reinstalling Eudora and defining a
new default Keychain access folder solved the problem.
I hope this can help other people with same problem.
