Hello,

My INBOX doesn't register new emails that I receive, despite 'Send & Receive' scheduled for every 1 minute (or on manual check).

I can see (in the bottom left) that these checks are running.

However if I close down the Entourage window and re-open it, when the check is done initially it recognises new emails and updates the inbox.

I know that my IMAP account receives these emails, as they appear in other apps like Mail, etc.

Any help much appreciated, as I kicked up a fuss with my boss to use Entourage in the first place, and dont want to go back to him cap in hand to say it doesn't work.

I've only just started, so I dont have loads of emails clogging the system.

Thanks,

J

I tried to include a screenshot but it did not work. If you click on Tools/Schedules/SendandRecieve All, do you have actions" enabled?

Every one minute is probably too frequently to be checking mail. Try setting
it to every five or ten minutes and see if it starts to work.

Hi guys - thanks for your feedback, to answer your questions:

* Enabled is ticked/checked
* Have changed to 5mins (however I dont see how this should affect the outcome of the action - as manual send & receive can be done at any time)

Still nothing, any other pointers?

Go to Tools --> Schedules... and double-click your Send & Receive All
schedule. Are all of your mail accounts listed there? If not, you can
manually add them.

Hope this helps!
