I want to personalize e-mail messages that I send to groups. As a minimum, the recipients should see their own names and/or addresses in the header following "TO:" and not the name of the group. As an extra, their names would also appear in a greeting in the body of the message. This feature does not appear to exist in Entourage 2004. I don't know about Entourage 2008? Maybe a third party product? A Google search turns up some solutions for MS Outlook, but nothing for Mac.

You can do this using Microsoft Word to set up a mail merge and then
send your messages through Entourage automatically.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Bill for the tip. It was so easy to accomplish that I am embarrassed that I was not able to do it by myself.
