Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

In Entourage 2004 there was a button when you were writing an e-mail which would allow you to save the message in the drafts folder.

I do not see one in Entourage 2008 - (I have looked under View: Customize Toolbar but I don't see the button)

Also, there used to be a "resend" button that I can't find either - any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's there. It's called "Save," it has the picture of a disk over a yellow
piece of paper.

Not available on the toolbar, but you can find it in the Message menu.

Hello,
I see your frustration. However, there are different versions of Office 2008:
•Home & Student
•Standard
•Special Media Edition

Depending on which one you have, it can depend. For example, I have the standard edition and my clip art gallery does not work. I have looked at my compose window in Entourage and here's what I see:
•Send
•Send Later
•Save
•Chat
•Print
•Delete
•Attach
•Insert
•Signature
•Rewrap
•Priority
•Security
•To Do
•Categories
•Projects
•Links
•Toolbox
•Separator
•Space
•Flexible Space
•Customize

All you need to do is drag the buttons you want to the top of the composition window. After that, press OK.
If you don't see that button there, you may want to try and uninstall your Office an do a fresh install.
To do this, try:
1. Close all Office programs and other programs you may have running on your Mac. Before you uninstall, be sure that you have your info backed up in Entourage either synced or saved in a file. If you are running a POP mail account, this is recommended. If you're running an IMAP server, like me, just backup your contacts, tasks and notes.
2. Click on "Finder" in your dock and go to the place you have your Office 2008 folder saved.
3. Once you're there, open the folder and click "Additional Tools."
4. Next, click on the folder marked, "Remove Office."
5. Click on the uninstaller. (NOTE: BEFORE DOING THIS, BE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CD AND PRODUCT KEY FOR THE CD.)
6. Follow the onscreen instructions. Once you are done, drag the Office folder to the trash and immediately empty it. Sometimes, it is a good idea to restart your computer to refresh it.
7. After restart, insert the CD into your optical drive and click on the installer. BE SURE THAT YOU ARE LOGGED IN AS THE ADMINISTRATOR. Follow the onscreen instructions. Once the installation is done, run ALL updates for Office 2008. Try opening Entourage and see if the problem was corrected. If not, there is one last measure.
8. As you're composing your message, click on "Send Later" button. This will move the message to your Outbox. Simply drag the saved message to your Drafts folder. Make sure that you don't have Entourage configured to automatically send saved messages. Check this in the Send and Receive Schedules.

Hopefully this helped.
