Entourage is not working. I have to force quit all the time. It seems
stuck as I have one new message to read and one new message to be
sent. But the minute I open the program the ball starts turning and
won't stop. I have uninstalled the whole office program 2004 for Mac
and installed, done permission repairs. Nothing has worked

Quit Entourage, then hold down the Shift key and relaunch it. Holding down
the Shift key will prevent it from running any schedules at startup, and my
guess is that the hanging is caused by a corrupted message in the outbox
which Entourage is trying to send as part of a schedule. Now, disable the
preview pane (View>Preview Pane>None) and then see if there are any messages
in the outbox. If there are, delete them. Quit Entourage and launch it
normally to see if the issue has now disappeared. If it has, reactivate the
preview pane; if it hasn't, try deleting the new message in the inbox, which
might also be corrupted, then restart the application.
