Greetings,

My Entourage fails each time I try to launch it. I get the "Entourage
has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience" error window. Help!

My Netscape is also not working properly.

I have tried some of the suggestions on this group, but my Entourage
will not even launch. The icon starts to bounce and the error report
comes out right away.

Holding down the shift key while launching does not work.

I have 10.3.9.

Suggestions?!

What do the crash logs in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter and
/Library/Logs/CrashReporter say?

I had this same problem. Could not figure out what it was. Tried
holding down the shift key. Try rebuilding the databases. Tried
trashing all the prefs. Tried as a different user. Try de-installing
and re-installing.

Finally, I ended up doing an OS Archive and Install. Still not sure
exactly what the problem was. The user uses FontBook, so I suspect she
was doing something funny with the fonts that caused corruption. Oh
well, waiting for it to happen again.

Will be interested in knowing what what your outcome is.
