Recently I've been experiencing repeated Entourage freezes.  I'll check mail
and after it downloads and I try to open a new E-mail, or maybe the 2nd or
3rd, the program freezes and I have to force quit.  When I restart Entourage
it opens in Calendar vice the normal Mail, so it I think the freezing may
have something to do with the Calendar.  Anyone have any thoughts?  Thanks.

I would rebuild the database. It sounds like something is definitly
corrupt.

Odds are it has nothing to do with the Calendar. The current version of
Entourage has problems remembering which view was open in the browser
window, but that would be unrelated to the freezes.

Rebuilding the database is probably a good idea when you experience a freeze
after clicking on a message to read it. Try to notice, though, if it is
always the same message; it may be just a single corrupted message causing
your problems. Close any preview pane, then you should be able to select the
corrupt message and delete it.
